Ok, so last week was Eid.
The thing is,...why are Eid so boring?its suppose to be the high light of the calender for Muslims.But mine was so boring that anyone who come to my house can easily mistaken Eid for any other day!
Perhaps the only different thing i did was went to Masjeed India at 0800hours.And oh yeah,I wore that very very comfortable white arabic Jubaa(robe).That was such a comfy!
anyway, the Eid prayers didnt started till like 0900hours.So the whole congretion was reciting the Eid Ta'beer

I know what it means...but i'm not sure of the las sentence, so I'm not gonna mislead you guys.
Anyway, after that, about 0830hours,the assistant imaam gave a speech in tamil...a language i cant understand.however, about 0900hours, the Eid prayers began.It didnt last longer the 15 minutes.Then,there was a Khutba' in Tamil...again.
Anyway, about 0945hours, it was over.I bought a few flowers for the vase at home and went back.
After a feww moments in the house,I went to the cemetary.Well, it was weird going to a cemetary where you dont have your relatives at.Anyway,afterall, all Muslims are related:)
but, thats basically my day...other then a few visitors we get that day...
And eidi..dont talk about it...I got the minimal eidi anyone can get...but then again...I'm grateful!
